Grand Passing Out Parade Held at PMA Kakul: Cadets from Pakistan and Friendly Nations Graduate

ISPR – A grand passing out parade was held at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, marking the graduation of cadets who completed various military courses. The event celebrated the 150th PMA Long Course, 69th Integrated Course, 24th Lady Cadet Course, and the 36th Technical Graduate Course. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was the chief guest, reviewing the parade and presenting awards to the outstanding cadets.

The parade was a testament to the strong bonds between Pakistan and other friendly nations, as cadets from Iraq, Jordan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka also graduated, alongside those from Nepal, Palestine, Sudan, and Yemen.

Senior Under Officer Abdullah Afzal received the prestigious Sword of Honor, while Senior Under Officer Babarullah Aman was awarded the Presidential Gold Medal. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal went to Senior Under Officer Kishtij Gurung from Nepal.

Additional honors included the Chief of Army Staff Cane, awarded to Junior Under Officer Muhammad Umar Shiraz of the 36th Technical Graduate Course. Junior Under Officer Muhammad Sulaiman of the 69th Integrated Course and Under Officer Pakiza Yaqoob of the 24th Lady Cadet Course received Commandant Canes for their exceptional performance.

The parade saw cadets demonstrate their drill skills, while national and foreign dignitaries, alongside the families of the cadets, attended the grand event. The passing out parade was a moment of pride, symbolizing the strength and dedication of the new officers as they embark on their military careers
