5.3 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Islamabad and Surrounding Areas

According to details, the federal capital Islamabad and various regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale. The seismic center reported that the earthquake originated in the Hindu Kush region at a depth of 220 kilometers below the surface.

The tremors were also felt in Nowshera, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, and districts of Hazara, as well as Attock, Mohmand, Landi Kotal, Swabi, Tirah, Shangla, Malakand, Buner, Khyber, Swat, Lower Dir, and Charsadda. So far, no reports of casualties or damage have been received.
