PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD ANNOUNCES BAHRIA TOWN AS TITLE SPONSOR OF CHAMPIONS ONE-DAY CUP
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced Bahria Town as the title sponsor of the Champions One-Day Cup, scheduled to take place from September 12-29 at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium. The tournament will feature the country’s top cricketers, with the opening match between UMT Markhors and Panthers set to begin today.
The PCB has also revealed a list of official sponsors, including Blue World City, Inverex Solar Energy, Brighto Paints, and Kingdom Valley. Tapal will serve as the official tea partner, while Lake City has acquired the naming rights for the Panthers team.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer expressed his gratitude to Bahria Town and the other sponsors for their support, stating that the partnership will benefit Pakistan’s cricketers and teams. He also emphasized the significance of the tournament, which promises to be an exciting event for fans in Pakistan.
The Champions One-Day Cup has also seen Allied Bank, Nurpur, and UMT acquire naming rights for the Stallions, Lions, and Markhors teams, respectively. The sponsor for the Dolphins team will be announced in due course.
