Voter Concerns Rise as Illegal Immigration Becomes Key Election Issue
Critics Say Administration’s Policies Allow Massive Illegal Immigration to Continue
A new report from the House Judiciary Committee reveals that nearly 1 million illegal immigrants are living in the United States “indefinitely.” These individuals have seen their immigration cases dismissed or closed, allowing them to avoid deportation.
The report criticizes the Biden-Harris Administration for its handling of immigration cases, claiming that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has failed to file necessary documentation. This has complicated the situation for many illegal immigrants.
When apprehended, these individuals usually enter removal proceedings to appear before an immigration judge. However, with only around 700 judges and a backlog of millions of cases, many are left waiting for resolution. The report highlights the ongoing immigration crisis and calls for reform in the U.S. immigration system.
