“Three Lebanese Journalists Dead After Israeli Attack on Press House”

Incident raises concerns over journalist safety in conflict zones.

Three Lebanese journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a building used by reporters in southeastern Lebanon. The attack took place in Hasbaya, where more than a dozen journalists were staying.

The victims included:

  • Ghassan Najjar and Mohamed Reda from Al Mayadeen TV
  • Wissam Qassem from Al-Manar TV

Lebanon’s Information Minister condemned the attack, calling it a “war crime.” The Israeli military has not yet commented, but it has denied targeting journalists in the past.

Three other journalists were injured in the blast. This incident adds to the growing number of journalists killed in the region during the ongoing conflict.

Footage from local news channels showed the damaged building and overturned vehicles marked for media use. Journalists have had to move from the nearby Marj’youn area to Hasbaya due to safety concerns.
