Thousands of Job Vacancies Expected in Dubai’s Airports and Airlines Over the Next 6 Years

Dubai: A new report from Emirates Group and Dubai Airports indicates that Dubai’s aviation sector is poised to create 185,000 new jobs by 2030. This growth will raise the total number of people employed in aviation-related activities to 816,000.

The report, compiled by global research firm Oxford Economics, highlights the significant role of aviation in Dubai’s economy. As of the end of 2023, approximately 631,000 individuals were employed in aviation-related jobs, accounting for one in five jobs in the city. This figure is projected to increase to one in four jobs by 2030, reflecting the industry’s expanding impact.

The findings underscore the importance of the aviation sector in supporting Dubai’s economic development and providing employment opportunities for residents and newcomers alike.
