Six FIA Officers Injured in Fog-Related Crash in Pindi Bhattian

Pindi Bhattian, November 11, 2024: Six officers from the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) were injured in a fog-related accident on the M-4 motorway in Pindi Bhattian. The accident occurred when their vehicle, traveling from Gujranwala to Faisalabad, crashed due to poor visibility caused by heavy fog. Rescue teams quickly moved the injured officers to the local hospital, where their condition is stable.

In separate fog-related incidents, the death toll from a multi-vehicle crash on the National Highway near Gharo has risen to five. The crash, which involved six vehicles, happened early in the morning due to low visibility from dense fog. Two more people injured in the accident later died in the hospital.

Meanwhile, two people were killed and six others injured when a bus crashed into a parked trailer near Darya Khan in Punjab. The bus, traveling from Uch Sharif to Rawalpindi, collided with the trailer due to foggy conditions.

These incidents highlight the dangers of traveling in thick fog, and authorities are advising drivers to be extra cautious and avoid travel during heavy fog. Rescue operations and investigations are ongoing.
