Pakistan Foils Terrorist Infiltration Attempt: Five Terrorists Killed in South Waziristan

In a recent operation, security forces in Pakistan’s South Waziristan successfully thwarted an attempted infiltration from Afghanistan, resulting in the death of five terrorists. Meanwhile, in North Waziristan, one terrorist was killed during a separate operation.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations took place on the night of November 3-4 across the two districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The military reported that six foreign terrorists were killed in total.

In North Waziristan, security forces acted on intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the Dosali area. During the engagement, heavy firing ensued, leading to the death of a terrorist known as Ahmad Shah, alias Intizar.

In a separate operation in the Khamrang area of South Waziristan, security forces responded swiftly to the movement of a group of terrorists attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. This led to a fierce exchange of fire, resulting in the deaths of five terrorists and injuries to three others.

The military spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan has consistently urged the interim Afghan government to effectively manage its borders and prevent its territory from being used for terrorism against Pakistan. The ISPR reiterated the commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to safeguard the country’s borders and eliminate terrorism.
