Russia Open to “Realistic” Ukraine Peace Initiatives, Says Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW Nov 21 (Reuters) – Russia has expressed its willingness to consider any “realistic” peace proposals for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, provided they align with Russia’s interests and the current situation on the ground.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova emphasized that Russia is open to negotiations and would consider initiatives that are “non-politicized.” However, she clarified that any potential settlement would need to account for Russia’s own interests.
