Renowned Islamic Scholar Dr. Zakir Naik Arrives in Pakistan
Dr. Zakir Naik, a renowned Islamic scholar and preacher, has arrived in Pakistan on a special invitation from the government. He was warmly welcomed at Islamabad Airport by Rana Mashhood, head of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, and officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs .
Dr. Naik’s visit to Pakistan is highly anticipated, with a packed schedule of events in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Here are the details of his upcoming events:
- Karachi: October 5-6, at Bagh-e-Quaid, opposite Mazar-e-Quaid
- Day 1: Shaikh Fariq Naik will discuss “Kya Qur’aan Ko Samajh Kar Padhna Zaroori Hai?” and Dr. Zakir Naik will talk about “Hamari Zindagi Ka Maqsad Kya Hai?”
- Day 2: Shaikh Fariq Naik will address “Misconceptions about Islam,” followed by Dr. Zakir Naik’s interactive session “Dr Zakir Se Poochiye”
- Lahore: October 12-13, at Badshahi Masjid and Minar-e-Pakistan
- October 11: Dr. Naik will deliver a public speech at Badshahi Masjid
- October 12-13: Speeches at Minar-e-Pakistan
- Islamabad: October 19-20, at Faisal Masjid
Dr. Naik will also meet with important national personalities during his visit. Previously, he mentioned in a podcast that he considered relocating to Pakistan in 2019 but was unable to do so due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, he chose Malaysia as his new residence to avoid potential accusations of being an ISI agent, which could harm his mission to spread Islamic teachings .
