Record 80 Million Americans Expected to Travel for Thanksgiving, AAA Says
NEW YORK, Nov 18 (Reuters) – This year, nearly 80 million Americans are expected to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday, setting a new record, according to the travel group AAA.
From Tuesday, Nov. 26, to Monday, Dec. 2, around 1.7 million more people will be on the move compared to the same period in 2023.
Despite previous years’ challenges, including staffing and aircraft shortages limiting airline capacity, a record number of Americans are set to fly to their holiday destinations this year.
