   Lahore and Multan rank among Pakistan’s most polluted cities, with hazardous air quality levels. Multan’s Air Quality Index (AQI) has reached an alarming 1260, while Lahore’s AQI stands at 760.
2. Rising Health Issues Due to Smog
   The persistent smog is causing a surge in respiratory, eye, ear, and throat ailments. Lahore’s Gulab Devi Hospital has seen over 30,000 patients affected by smog, a significant increase from last year’s 14,000 cases.
3. Zero Visibility, Daily Life Disrupted
   In cities like Faisalabad, visibility has dropped to zero due to smog, making travel and daily activities challenging.
4. Health Experts Advise Caution
   Medical experts are urging residents to take precautions by wearing masks and avoiding unnecessary outdoor exposure.
5. No Rain Expected, Smog Likely to Persist
   According to the meteorological department, there is no forecast of rain in the next 24 hours, and smog is expected to persist in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Multan, D.G. Khan, and surrounding areas.
