Prince Harry’s Lawsuit Against Murdoch’s Newspaper Group Heads to Trial
LONDON, Nov 15 – Prince Harry is moving forward with his lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers, despite many others settling their cases.
Harry, 40, is suing the publishers of The Sun and the now-closed News of the World. He claims they illegally accessed his private information between 1996 and 2011 using methods like phone hacking and private investigators.
While many people have settled their lawsuits, Harry is determined to take his case to trial in London, which could have important consequences for press practices in the UK.
