Poland’s Duda Says U.S. Decision on Arms Could Be Decisive for Ukraine
Warsaw– Polish President Andrzej Duda called the U.S. decision to allow Ukraine to use American-made weapons to strike deep into Russian territory a “potentially decisive moment” in the ongoing war. Speaking to journalists on Monday, Duda emphasized the importance of the move, which marks a significant shift in U.S. policy, highlighting the strong support Ukraine continues to receive from the West.
Two U.S. officials and a source familiar with the decision revealed on Sunday that Washington had reversed its stance, permitting Ukraine to target deeper into Russian territory with advanced weapons. Duda stated that this decision sends a clear message to Russia that the West remains steadfast in its support for Ukraine.
