Pakistani pilgrims’ bus accident in Iran, 35 people died
A bus of Pakistani pilgrims met with an accident in the Iranian city of Yazd, as a result of which 35 people were killed and 15 injured. According to Iranian media, the bus of Pakistani pilgrims overturned in front of Dashir Taftan check point after which the bus caught fire. According to Iranian media, the accident happened to the pilgrims’ bus at 9:54 p.m., 53 pilgrims were on the bus, 35 people died and 15 were injured in the accident, some of them are in serious condition.
According to Iranian media, as soon as the accident was reported, the rescue teams reached the accident site and took out the injured and dead bodies from the bus, while emergency has been imposed in the hospitals after the accident. Maulana Qamar Abbas Naqvi in Larkana claims that 35 people died and 15 were injured in the accident.He said that the bus had left from Larkana with more than 50 people including 14 women, 10 people from Khairpur and 6 people from Kashmore.
Syed Athar Shamsi, the leader of the convoy in Iran, while explaining the details of the accident, said that there were two buses in the convoy, he himself was riding in one bus, and the pilgrims were riding in two buses. The bus was left behind, the bus going ahead met with an accident
