Pakistan Earns 660 Billion PKR from Rice, Sugar, and Vegetable Exports
Pakistan has earned 660 billion Pakistani Rupees (about 2.36 billion USD) from exports of rice, sugar, and vegetables in the first four months of the 2025 fiscal year. This is a 22% increase in food exports compared to the same period last year.
The boost in exports is a result of strong demand for these products in international markets. Rice, sugar, and vegetables are leading the way, helping Pakistan earn valuable foreign exchange.
This growth is a significant achievement for Pakistan’s agricultural sector, and the government hopes the trend will continue, further supporting the economy.
