Pakistan Defeats England by 9 Wickets in Pindi Test, Clinches Series 2-1

n a decisive victory, Pakistan defeated England by 9 wickets in the Pindi Test, sealing a 2-1 win in the three-match Test series. This marks Pakistan’s first home Test series win in four years, with the last one being against South Africa in 2021.

On the third day of the match, England’s entire team was bowled out for 112 runs, leaving Pakistan with a target of just 36 runs, which they chased down with the loss of only one wicket.

After winning the toss, England opted to bat first but were restricted to 267 runs, with five of their batsmen failing to reach double digits. In response, Pakistan scored 344 runs, thanks to Saud Shakeel’s 134 off 223 balls. In England’s second innings, Nauman Ali took 6 wickets for 42 runs, while Sajid Khan claimed 4 wickets for 69 runs, restricting them to 112 runs.

PCB Chairman and Governor Sindh Congratulate the Team

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi praised the national team for their performance, lauding Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali’s bowling and Saud Shakeel’s century. He expressed that the team’s success would boost morale and validate the inclusion of new players.

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori also congratulated the team, commending the coach, captain, and players for their teamwork and exceptional performance throughout the series.
