Pakistan Army Successfully Rescues Passengers Trapped in Deosai, Skardu
Skardu, Pakistan: November 14, around 15 passengers traveling in two vehicles were stranded in the Deosai area of Skardu due to heavy snowfall. The passengers lost all ground communication as they were stuck in the remote location.
Upon receiving an urgent appeal for help from the passengers’ families and local residents, the Pakistan Army immediately launched both aerial and ground rescue operations.
A joint team of Army personnel, despite the freezing temperatures and continuous snow, set out on foot to reach the stranded passengers. The team worked tirelessly, navigating through extremely challenging conditions to successfully rescue all the passengers.
In addition to the ground team, two Pakistan Army helicopters also participated in the operation, although bad weather and heavy snow posed significant challenges to the aerial mission.
The timely intervention of the Pakistan Army was praised by both the locals and the passengers, who expressed their gratitude for the successful rescue operation that saved lives in such harsh conditions.
