New Poll Reveals 27% of Americans Worry About Post-Election Violence

Poll Shows 1 in 4 Americans Fear Violence After Presidential Election

A recent YouGov poll of 1,266 registered voters has revealed that 27% of Americans fear violence may break out following the upcoming presidential election. The poll, conducted for The Times, shows that concerns of post-election unrest are high, with 84% of respondents believing the country is more divided now than it was a decade ago.

The poll also highlights that 12% of voters claim to know someone who might take up arms if Donald Trump is perceived to have been “cheated” out of victory. Similarly, 5% say they know someone who would do the same for Kamala Harris.

These findings come as political tensions in the U.S. continue to rise, with concerns about potential violence growing as election day approaches.
