LinkedIn Faces Big Fine for Breaking Data Privacy Rules
LinkedIn has been fined €310 million by Ireland’s data protection authority for issues with how it handles user data.
The authority raised concerns about LinkedIn’s use of private data for ads and behavioral analysis. The investigation started after a complaint from France.
LinkedIn has been ordered to improve its data processing practices to comply with European Union laws.
