Keir Starmer Opens London’s First Google-Funded AI Campus for Youth Development
LONDON, Nov 27- British Prime Minister Keir Starmer officially opened London’s first Google-funded AI Campus on Wednesday, aimed at empowering young people with skills in artificial intelligence (AI). Located in Camden, the campus is set to provide crucial resources for local students and foster growth in the rapidly evolving field of AI technology.
The centre, situated in an area that Starmer represents in parliament and near Google’s future offices in Kings Cross, has launched a two-year pilot project for young learners. The first cohort, consisting of 32 students aged 16-18, will gain access to resources in AI and machine learning. In addition, they will receive expert mentoring from Google’s AI division, DeepMind, to enhance their knowledge and skills in these advanced technologies.
