Israel’s October Strike Targeted Iran’s Nuclear Program
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Monday that Israel’s airstrike on Iran last month targeted a component of Tehran’s nuclear program, while also damaging its defense and missile production capabilities.
Speaking in parliament, Netanyahu stated, “It’s not a secret,” adding that the attack had specifically hit a key element of Iran’s nuclear activities. However, he acknowledged that the strike did not block Iran’s path to developing a nuclear weapon. He did not specify which component of the nuclear program was targeted.
