Israel Launches Attacks on Iran; Explosions Near Revolutionary Guards Headquarters

Reports indicate that explosions were heard near Tehran Airport and in Damascus, Syria’s capital, with fires breaking out in multiple locations. Explosions were also reported near the headquarters of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

Media sources confirm five blasts in Karaj, near Tehran, and explosions in the city of Tikrit. Tehran’s fire department rescued ten people from a building affected by the fire, with Iranian media verifying the incidents.

An Israeli military spokesperson confirmed the attacks, claiming that Israel’s defense systems are active and prepared. The strikes were reportedly in response to ballistic missile threats against Israel, targeting Iranian military sites. The U.S. recently deployed THAAD missile systems and F-16 jets to support Israel.
