India Beat South Africa in 1st T20I at Durban

Durban, November 8, 2024 —India defeated South Africa by 61 runs in the first T20I of their four-match series at Kingsmead Oval in Durban.

Sanju Samson was the star of the match, scoring a brilliant 107 runs off 62 balls, including 10 sixes. His innings helped India post a total of 202/8 in their 20 overs.

In reply, South Africa struggled against India’s spinners. Heinrich Klaasen was the top scorer for the hosts with 25 runs, but they were bowled out for just 141 in 17.5 overs. Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi both took 3 wickets each to help India secure the win.
