ICC Announces New Players Rankings: Babar Azam Retains Top Spot in ODIs

Batsmen Rankings

Pakistan captain Babar Azam remains at the top of the ODI batsmen rankings with 795 points, continuing his dominance.

  • India’s Rohit Sharma holds the second position, followed by teammate Shubman Gill in third place.
  • Virat Kohli, another Indian star, is ranked fourth.
  • South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen has climbed eight spots to secure the fifth position.
  • Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan has improved by three places and now stands at 21st.
  • Rising star Saim Ayub, who scored two centuries in the recent ODI series against South Africa, has made an impressive leap of 57 spots, landing at the 24th position.

Bowlers Rankings

In the ODI bowlers’ rankings:

  • Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to lead at the top.
  • India’s Kuldeep Yadav has climbed two places to take the second spot.
  • Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi has dropped one place and is now ranked third.
