India’s Hardik Pandya has reclaimed the top position in the ICC T20I allrounder rankings, overtaking England’s Liam Livingstone and Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee. Pandya’s impressive performances in the T20 series against South Africa, including picking up two wickets and scoring crucial runs, helped him regain the top spot. His standout performance came in the fourth T20I in Johannesburg, where he bowled a brilliant spell, taking 1 for 8 in three overs, including a maiden.

Meanwhile, young India batter Tilak Varma has made a significant leap in the rankings, jumping 69 places to break into the top 10 for the first time. Tilak’s back-to-back centuries in the South Africa series, coupled with consistent performances, earned him a rise to the third spot among T20I batters, just behind Travis Head and Phil Salt. His captain, Suryakumar Yadav, remains close behind in the rankings.

Sanju Samson, who also scored two centuries in the series, climbed 17 places to 22nd. In the bowling rankings, India’s left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh moved up three spots to 9th after taking eight wickets in the series against South Africa.

In the men’s T20I bowling rankings, Australia’s Adam Zampa rose to third after picking up six wickets against Pakistan, while Nathan Ellis surged 15 spots to 11th. For South Africa, Tristan Stubbs and Heinrich Klaasen saw significant improvements, with Stubbs moving up to 23rd and Klaasen rising to 59th.

In other notable rankings, Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis rose to joint 12th after the T20I series with New Zealand, and Maheesh Theekshana’s rise to 6th in the ODI rankings pushed India’s Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj to 7th and 8th respectively.
