Gunman Killed, Three Police Officers Injured in Attack Near Israeli Embassy in Amman
AMMAN, Nov 24– A gunman was shot dead and three police officers were injured following a shooting near the Israeli embassy in Amman, Jordan, on Sunday. According to security sources and state media, the gunman opened fire at a police patrol in the Rabiah neighborhood. Police returned fire, killing the assailant. Jordan’s government communications minister, Mohamed Momani, labeled the incident as a terror attack targeting public security forces and confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
