Deadly Fog Crash in Sindh Claims Five Lives, Injures Twelve
THATTA (Nov 10, 2024) – A deadly accident occurred near Gharo, in Sindh’s Thatta district, when six vehicles collided due to thick fog on the National Highway early Sunday morning.
According to rescue officials, the crash involved two trucks and several cars. Three people were killed on the spot, while 12 others were injured. Four of the injured were in critical condition and were transported to Karachi for further treatment.
Local residents assisted in moving the injured to nearby hospitals, where two more of the injured succumbed to their injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and foggy conditions are being cited as a major factor in the tragedy.
