FESCO and Punjab Government Sign MoU to Provide Electricity Bill Relief

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) and the Punjab government to provide relief to consumers in their electricity bills for August and September. As per the agreement, domestic consumers in the FESCO region will receive a reduction of Rs. 14 per unit in their electricity bills for the said months. Approximately 771,000 customers who received their August bills between August 1 and August 11 will be issued corrected bills, taking into account the relief provided by the Punjab government. To facilitate easy payment, the payment deadline has been extended by seven days. The relief will also be applied to the bills of other wholesale consumers. The government and FESCO have reiterated that providing relief to consumers is their top priority
