Faisalabad Police Torture Cell Exposed: SHO Accused of Corruption

A shocking scandal has rocked the Faisalabad police department, as a private torture cell allegedly operated by SHO Mureedwala Arslan Zafar has come to light.

VIDEO EVIDENCE EMERGES

A local news outlet has obtained disturbing footage showing the private torture cell, where accused individuals were subjected to inhumane treatment. The videos reveal:

  • Accused being brought in police vehicles
  • Victims lying on the ground within the torture cell
  • Policemen transporting women on motorbikes in and out of the premises

ALLEGATIONS OF EXTORTION AND CORRUPTION

Sources claim that SHO Arslan Zafar occupied a canal house belonging to US-based Naeem Asghar, after Asghar filed a theft complaint on May 11. Asghar allegedly refused to register a case, prompting the SHO to take over the property.

Upon discovering the police’s illicit activities, Asghar evicted the police and released the incriminating videos.

POLICE DENIAL

A police spokesperson has denied the existence of any private torture cell in the district, stating that a case was registered against Naeem Asghar on September 13 under theft provisions, currently under investigation.

This exposé raises serious concerns about police corruption, extortion, and human rights abuses in Faisalabad.
