Elon Musk’s Wealth Crosses $300 Billion Again Thanks to Tesla
Tesla’s Stock Rise Boosts Musk’s Fortune
Elon Musk’s wealth has crossed $300 billion for the first time in nearly three years, driven by a sharp rise in Tesla’s stock price. According to Bloomberg, Musk’s net worth has grown quickly, especially after Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election.
Since Tuesday, Tesla’s stock has gone up 28%, adding $50 billion to Musk’s fortune, which is now worth $313.7 billion. This increase is partly due to policies from Trump that could help Musk’s companies.
Trump has mentioned plans to support electric vehicles and space exploration, which could benefit Musk’s businesses like Tesla and SpaceX. As a result, Musk’s wealth from these companies has grown by $82 billion.
Musk, 53, is the only person whose wealth has reached over $300 billion. He first achieved this in 2021 when his fortune hit $340 billion, though it later dropped.
Musk owns 21% of Tesla and much of his wealth comes from the company’s stock.
