KINSHASA: A devastating landslide in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has claimed the lives of at least nine people, including seven children from a single family. The tragedy struck Kabulu village in South Kivu province late on Friday, triggered by heavy rainfall. Local officials reported that the landslide swept away several homes, with one resident losing his wife and seven children.
