CIA Employee Charged with Leaking Classified Info on Israeli Attack Plans
WASHINGTON — A CIA employee, Asif William Rahman, has been charged with leaking classified information about Israel’s plans to attack Iran. Rahman was arrested in Cambodia earlier this week and appeared in court in Guam on Thursday. He is now being transferred to Virginia, where he faces charges of illegally keeping and sharing top-secret documents related to national defense.
Court documents do not name his employer, but sources have confirmed Rahman worked for the CIA. The charges say Rahman had access to sensitive information and shared it without permission. This case raises concerns about security within U.S. intelligence agencies.
