China Unveils Aerospace Milestones at Zhuhai Air Show
ZHUHAI, China, Nov 12 — China’s aerospace ambitions took the spotlight on the opening day of the Zhuhai Air Show, with major announcements and impressive displays.
COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) revealed Air China as the first customer for its upcoming C929 widebody jet, marking a significant step in China’s efforts to develop its own passenger aircraft. The show also featured a model of China’s first commercial uncrewed spaceplane, highlighting the country’s growing space capabilities.
In the skies, China’s Bayi aerobatics team performed with four J-20 stealth jets, while the J-35A stealth fighter made its public debut, showcasing the country’s advancing military aviation technology. The event continues to demonstrate China’s growing strength in both commercial and defense aerospace sectors.
