Bitcoin Surpasses $80,000 for the First Time
Bitcoin Hits New High Following Trump’s U.S. Election Victory
Nov 10 (Reuters) — Bitcoin reached a new record on Sunday, trading above $80,000 for the first time, following Donald Trump’s decisive victory in the U.S. presidential election earlier in the week.
The world’s largest and most well-known cryptocurrency has surged 65.4% from its low of $38,505 in January. Trump has expressed plans to make the U.S. “the crypto capital of the planet,” which has contributed to Bitcoin’s rise.
