Bitcoin Hits Record High Near $95,000
Bitcoin surged to a record high just under $95,000 following news that Donald Trump’s social media company is in talks to acquire crypto trading firm Bakkt. The cryptocurrency, which has more than doubled in value this year, reached a peak of $94,982.37 before settling at $93,709, a 1.6% increase. The rise in Bitcoin’s price has been fueled by growing expectations of a crypto-friendly environment under Trump’s future administration.
