Attack in Quetta District: 7 Security Personnel Killed, 10 Injured
Seven security personnel were killed and over 10 injured in an attack by unidentified armed assailants in the Khulat district of Balochistan, Pakistan. The incident occurred late last night when the attackers targeted a Frontier Corps (FC) post in the Shah Mardan area.
A senior official from the Balochistan Home Department confirmed the attack, stating that the fatalities included one Naik (sergeant), two Lance Naiks, and five soldiers. The injured personnel were rushed to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Quetta for treatment.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a banned militant group, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
