Apple to Launch Ultra-Slim iPhone 17 Air — Thinnest iPhone Ever
Apple is reportedly set to introduce a new iPhone 17 Air alongside the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be 2mm thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, reducing its thickness to just 6.25mm, making it the slimmest iPhone in history.
The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to feature a 6.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a single rear camera, and Apple’s next-gen A19 chip. Reports suggest it may also eliminate the SIM tray entirely, hinting at a fully eSIM-based device. The official launch is expected in Q4 2025.
Apple’s push for a thinner design follows a historical trend where iPhones grew thicker to house larger batteries and more advanced hardware, but the iPhone 17 Air aims to reverse that course. This ultra-slim design could mark a new era of minimalist smartphones.
