Apple Seeks Dismissal of U.S. Smartphone Monopoly Lawsuit
Apple has requested a federal judge to dismiss the U.S. Department of Justice’s case accusing the tech giant of unlawfully dominating the smartphone market. During a court hearing in Newark, New Jersey, Apple’s lawyers argued that the case should be thrown out on several grounds and also urged the judge to limit the discovery process, which involves the exchange of case-related information. This marks the latest antitrust battle for Big Tech.
