DUBAI – In a resounding endorsement of the region’s commitment to security and stability, three Arab nations have emerged as the safest countries in the world, according to a recent Gallup survey.
Kuwait took the top spot, with an overwhelming 99% of its citizens feeling secure walking alone at night. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates followed closely, with 90% and 92% of respondents, respectively, expressing confidence in their personal safety.
GCC Nations Excel in Rule of Law
The survey, which polled residents of 150 countries and territories, highlighted the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations’ exemplary record in maintaining law and order. Kuwait led the pack in the rule of law index, scoring an impressive 98%.

This achievement comes on the heels of Saudi Arabia’s recent distinction as the safest country for women to travel alone among G20 nations.
