ICC Imposes Fine on South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen for Misconduct

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a 15% match fee fine on South African cricketer Heinrich Klaasen for breaching the Code of Conduct during the second ODI against Pakistan.

Klaasen, who was dismissed for 97 runs in the match, angrily kicked the stumps, prompting action from the on-field umpires. As a result, the ICC charged him with a Code of Conduct violation, resulting in a 15% fine on his match fee and one demerit point.

Clash with Mohammad Rizwan
In the same match, Klaasen was also involved in a verbal altercation with Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Rizwan.
