Natasha Iqbal’s Urine Samples Reveal Ice Presence, New Case Registered

Natasha Iqbal, the driver accused of causing a fatal car accident on Karachi’s Karsaz Road, faces new charges after urine samples revealed the presence of crystal meth (ice). The police have registered a fresh case against her under the Prohibited Narcotics Act, following the revelation.

According to the police surgeon’s report, Natasha’s urine samples tested positive for ice, while her blood samples showed no signs of narcotics. The case has been expanded to include charges of drug use, which could lead to stricter penalties.

The court has granted permission for further investigation, allowing police to interrogate Natasha in jail until 5 pm. She remains in judicial custody for the main case, which involves the deaths of a father and daughter in the car accident.

The new developments in the case have narrowed the legal framework against Natasha, who is now facing charges under the Prohibited Narcotics Act. The police approached the court to investigate Natasha in a new case, and the court allowed the investigation to proceed under the said section.

The investigating officer can conduct the investigation in the jail as per the rules, and Natasha can be interrogated till 5 pm. The new case was registered on the direction of the legal branch, based on the examination report.
