No Public Transport in Islamabad After 8 PM Ahead of PTI’s Strike

Islamabad, Pakistan: The Islamabad Transport Authority has announced the suspension of all public transport services in the city after 8 PM tonight, effective until further notice. This decision comes as the city prepares for a nationwide strike called by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party on November 24.

According to the official statement, all transport terminals will be closed starting at 8 PM, and no public transport will be available. The authority has warned that any failure to comply with the directive will lead to legal action.

In addition, several areas of the motorway will be closed until further instructions, as part of the security measures surrounding the PTI strike. Residents are advised to plan their travel accordingly, as both public transport services and major highways may be disrupted in the coming days.
