Serbia Arrests 11 People Over Railway Station Roof Collapse That Killed 15

BELGRADE– Serbian authorities have arrested 11 individuals in connection with the tragic collapse of a railway station roof in Novi Sad earlier this month. The incident, which occurred on November 1, initially claimed the lives of 14 people and injured three others. One of the injured later passed away, raising the death toll to 15.

The roof, which had recently been renovated, collapsed suddenly, prompting investigations into possible negligence or wrongdoing. The High Prosecutor’s Office in Novi Sad confirmed the arrests as part of the ongoing inquiry into the incident.
