Over 100 Hamsters Cause Chaos After Escaping on Flight

A TAP Airlines flight in Portugal was delayed for days after more than 100 hamsters escaped their cages and ran wild throughout the aircraft. The Airbus A321, traveling from Lisbon to Ponta Delgada on the Azores island, was carrying hamsters, ferrets, and birds in the cargo hold. Upon arrival on November 13, airline staff discovered the cages had been broken and the hamsters had escaped, causing significant disruption.
