Serbian Opposition Joins Protests After Deadly Train Station Roof Collapse

BELGRADE– Serbian opposition politicians clashed with police on Wednesday as they blocked access to a court building, demanding swift justice for those responsible for the deadly roof collapse at Novi Sad’s train station.

The incident occurred on November 1, when the recently-renovated roof of the station collapsed, killing 14 people and injuring three others. One of the injured died on Sunday, raising the death toll to 15. The opposition protests highlight growing frustration over delays in holding those accountable for the disaster.
