Shaheen Shah Afridi Dropped from Pakistan Test Squad for Second Bangladesh Match
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the 17-member squad for the second Test match against Bangladesh, starting August 30 . Shaheen Shah Afridi has been dropped from the squad, as he has recently become a father and the team wants him to spend time with his family. Abrar Ahmed has been included in the squad, considering the conditions, while Amir Jamal’s participation is subject to fitness clearance . The final 11-member team will be decided tomorrow, based on the conditions. Here is the squad:
- Batsmen: Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Huraira, Salman Ali Agha
- Wicket-keepers: Mohammad Rizwan, Sarfaraz Ahmed
- Bowlers: Abrar Ahmed, Aamir Jamal (subject to fitness), Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Ali, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Shaheen Shah Afridi
The second Test match will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 30 to September 3
