Russian Missile Strike on Sumy Kills 11, Injures 89
Kyiv, – A Russian missile strike on a residential building in the Ukrainian city of Sumy has killed 11 people, including two children, and left 89 others injured, Ukrainian officials reported.
The attack, which occurred late on Sunday, also caused a power outage in the city’s administrative center. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service confirmed the toll, adding that 11 children were among the injured. The missile strike is part of ongoing Russian assaults on Ukrainian cities, which have caused widespread damage and casualties.
