Russia Downs 59 Ukrainian Drones, Two Targeting Moscow

Russia’s defense ministry reported that its air defense systems destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones overnight, including two that were reportedly heading towards Moscow. According to a statement on Telegram, 45 drones were shot down over Russia’s Bryansk region, which borders Ukraine.

In addition to the two intercepted drones over Moscow, Russia’s military also downed drones over the Kursk, Belgorod, and Tula regions. The ministry did not provide further details on any potential damage or casualties from the intercepted drones.
