Israel Closer to Agreement on Hezbollah Conflict, Minister Says

Israel is reportedly closer to reaching an arrangement with Hezbollah over the ongoing conflict, according to Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen. In an interview with Reuters, Cohen stated that Israel is nearing a deal, the first substantial progress since the war began. However, a key condition for Israel is ensuring it retains the ability to act inside Lebanon if Hezbollah violates any agreement or attempts to establish strongholds near the Israeli border. Cohen emphasized that Israel would not be lenient in such cases and would take decisive action to protect its security.
